My work is both wheel-thrown and hand-built stoneware fired at cone 6 oxidation. I experiment with integrating sand, feldspar, and crushed pottery into the clay body and use a recycled glaze as a colour base. Various surface decoration techniques achieve botanical and cellular structure motifs, including hand carving, stamps, sprig molds, and press molds.
